Columbus Living

Yesterday my friends and I wanted to visit the newest river upgrades downtown. They did such a great job at making it more accessible to the citizens of Columbus. It looks great and photographs beautifully! Here are some images I took. Some of them are a little silly but sometimes you need to have fun! […]

Fallin for Fall

Yesterday I took a field trip with one of my friends to the Franklin Park Conservatory to capture the lingering effects of fall. I was enamored with the orange and yellow leaves clinging to the trees. It was really pretty and such a perfect day. We were pretty pumped to step on all the crunchy […]

Motorin’

A few weeks ago for my on location class, I had the pleasure of photographing Aniket Vardhan’s bike and garage. He has a really great story and a really nice bike that he custom built! Here are some of the images from the day and here is his website

Dodgeball

Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph some dodgeball at the Vineyard Community Center. These guys take their dodgeball seriously, but they still make it fun. I got a lot of great action shots from them. I hope to go back soon because they were a great bunch of people to photograph!

Coffee

For my photo illustration class, we had to do “coffee” without actually taking a picture of coffee. Basically be more creative than to just take a picture of a cup of coffee. So I decided to make Coffee Battle Royale. I visited several different coffee places; Tim Horton’s, McDonald’s, Dunkin Donuts, Crimson Cup, Starbucks, and Cup […]

Ultimate Frisbee

A couple weeks ago I photographed a group playing Ultimate Frisbee in the park near OSU. I meant to post these images sooner, but sadly my aunt passed away so I had to travel home to Pittsburgh to be with my family. I hope next time that I go, there will not be rain! They […]

Animal Shelters

I haven’t been to CHA Animal Shelter in a long time. With the weather being so awful lately and my camera taking a trip to get fixed, it’s been rough. I’ve been trying to contact different shelters to get different animals photographed. I can’t photograph cats because of allergies so I am looking at rabbits […]

Puppies!

It has been awhile since I posted! Things are getting crazy this semester. I am continuing my documentary project of shelter animals, but now I am looking for people who have a dog that they adopted or are currently fostering. If that is you, please contact me either by leaving a comment or emailing me […]

CHA Animal Shelter

Today I visited the CHA Animal Shelter to start my documentary project. For my project, I am visiting animal shelters and photographing the dogs there. I am talking with the staff and volunteers to get their viewpoints on shelters and how they deal with the animals that come in. I want to raise awareness on […]

Franklin Park Conservatory

Tuesday, it was beautiful (as beautiful as it can be with that snow on the ground) so I decided to take a trip to Franklin Park Conservatory. It’s really calming there and it reminds me of the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. I did some outdoor shooting and some indoor as well. My favorite part in […]
